You sure can! You can shop as much as you want online.


In New Zealand we can now provide you essential winter clothing and accessories online with contactless delivery. Strict health & safety guidelines as advised by the government are being adhered to ensure the safety of our staff and customers are our top priority. No orders will be sent to customers unless the order only contains essential items. You're welcome to still place orders online for non-essential items, however your order won't be shipped until our Distribution Centre is allowed to open as normal again.

Awesome news! we can now deliver our approved essential clothing to your door. We’re only able to deliver essential clothing at the moment, which you can find here.


You can still shop our non essential clothing, they just won’t be shipped straight away. We will ensure they are sent out as fast as possible once our DC is fully back up and running. If you have an outstanding order placed prior to the Alert Level 4 lockdown, we will deliver it as quickly as possible once we’re fully back up and running.


We absolutely support the Government’s plan to slow the spread of COVIF-19 and therefore we will be enduring we follow all health and safety protocols in ensure we keep our staff and customers safe.

How can I return my online purchase?

Online returns will be our normal process, however we’ll have a 30 day grace period once our stores have opened if you’ve not been able to return your item within our 30 day return policy due to the lockdown in NZ.

A reminder returned items must be in new, unworn condition and with all the garment tags. We can either give you a full refund on the item(s), or exchange them for another style, size or colour that you may prefer. We will refuse returns of items where it's obvious that the above conditions have not been met.

How do we ensure our staff are safe?

Strict health & safety guidelines as advised by the government are being adhered to ensure the safety of our staff and customers are our top priority. We are limiting the number of staff in the distribution centre and are working split shifts to ensure distancing.

If my local store is closed, how can I return my in store purchase?

Items purchased instore can only be returned to a store location. We’ll have a 30 day grace period once our stores have opened if you’ve not been able to return your item within our 30 day return policy.

Is my store open? Are there any changes to store hours?

All of our New Zealand and Australian branches are closed until further notice. Our online store is still open but will not be shipping orders while the lockdown is still in New Zealand is still in place.

WHAT IS AN ESSENTIAL ITEM?

We are complying by the guidelines as stipulated on the relevant government website (MBIE). We are focused on offering winter or basic products that meet customer needs at this time. Click here to view our essential items.

When will my order be shipped?

Place your order before 2pm, March 25th for guaranteed delivery this week.

Due to the current lockdown in NZ our distribution centre will remain closed until further notice. We will still be taking orders in and we will endeavour to dispatch these as soon as it's safe to do so. If you place an order within the lockdown period it will be dispatched as soon as our warehouses are open. Please note that there may be a large backlog of orders so it may take an additional business day for your order to be dispatched once our Distribution centre is open.

Why can’t I get non essential products delivered?

We’re a proud and long established New Zealand company, and it’s important to us to do right thing by our customers and community. If our customers are in need of winter clothing, it’s important to us to be able to deliver that to them.

Why is Hallenstein Brothers allowed to sell?

We’ve registered with a government agency, and are complying with all health and safety protocols and have limited essential product range to meet our customer needs at this time.
